Middle School English Teacher:
Job Description: Teacher must be able to teach the following classes: Grammar and Literature for middle school students. Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and activities. Adhere to the course instruction as prescribed in the Curriculum Guide. Prepare semester, quarter and weekly lesson plans. Utilize valid teaching techniques to achieve curriculum goals within the framework of the school's philosophy. Employ a variety of instructional aides, methods, and materials that will provide or creatively teach to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional. This job is for a 10 month contract, Aug 1, 2013 - Jun 4, 2014. Salary is between $24K-$26K, based on credentials and experience. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in English. Teaching experience in a Christian school preferred. Willing to complete the Philosophy of Christian Education requirement for FACCS. Possess basic computer skills, including word processing and e-mail.
Secondary Math Teacher:Job Description: Teacher must be able to teach the following classes: Pre-algebra, Algebra, Geometry and Integrated Math classes. Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and activities. Adhere to the course instruction as prescribed in the Curriculum Guide. Prepare semester, quarter and weekly lesson plans. Utilize valid teaching techniques to achieve curriculum goals within the framework of the school's philosophy. Employ a variety of instructional aides, methods, and materials that will provide or creatively teach to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional. This job is for a 10 month contract, Aug 5, 2013 - Jun 4, 2014. Salary is between $21K-$25K, based on credentials and experience.
