Summer Day Camp 2012

 

Summer Day Camp (SDC) is a day camp of recreational, developmental, and educational activities.
 
Ages:                                       5 - 13

Dates:                                      June 4 - August 3

Times:                                     8 AM - 4 PM

Registration & Costs: Camps may be paid for weekly, with payment due on Monday, one week prior to any weekly camp start date. The camp maintains an experienced, professionally trained, and certified staff with a better than 15 to 1 camper to adult staff ratio.

Activities:  Our caring staff will provide a high-quality, Christ-centered camp that includes weekly:

                                                Dodge Ball
                                                Swimming Lessons
                                                Bowling
                                                Goofy Golf
                                                Recreational Swimming
                                                Roller Skating
                                                Sports
                                                Special Weekly Field Trips/Activities
           
Bring:  Each child should bring a towel, swim wear, SPF-15 (or better) sunscreen, and tennis shoes in a carry-all bag. Please mark ALL possessions/clothing with your child's name or initials.

Transportation:  Bus pick-up and drop-off will be provided at centralized pick-up points. We plan to provide bus service for Valparaiso, Niceville, and Bluewater Bay weekly. The cost for transportation is $30 per week for the first child, $23 per week for the second child, and $18 per week for each additional child. We anticipate a very limited bus service for Eglin AFB, Shalimar, and Fort Walton Beach weekly for $35 for each child. Your child's bus driver will contact you concerning bus stops and times.  Please communicate with the Summer Program office (729-7227, ext. 273) concerning any changes in your schedule.  If you would like bus service, click on the Bus Form button to download and complete the bus form.

Lunch Supplies:  Each child attending a full day camp should bring a sack lunch and drink daily. Water is offered frequently; soda, juice, and snacks are usually available for purchase.

To ensure a spot for your child, please click on the Program Application button to download and complete the application forms. Thank you for allowing us to serve your child!

Helpers:  13 to 17 year olds may volunteer to help with the camps. Click on the Helper Application button. If space is available, bus service will be offered to helpers at the cost of $1.50 per trip for Valparaiso, Niceville, or Bluewater Bay and $2.50 per trip for Eglin AFB, Shalimar, or Fort Walton Beach.
