Full-time, 10-month position, hourly position, Aug 2019 – Jun 1, 2020; $9.50/hr pay rate, dependent upon experience. Healthcare benefits available.

Job Description: The School Receptionist shall graciously serve the RBCS ministry by receiving parents and guests arriving in the front office and receive and direct phone calls as appropriate. The reception area is a place of service to the public and should be a hospitable reception area which brings Glory to God. The receptionist must have a clear, pleasant voice and dress in an appropriate manner for receiving the public. The receptionist shall have general knowledge of the purpose, vision, and mission of the school and be able to answer general questions concerning the school. The Receptionist is also responsible for the RBCS Mail Clerk program and Administrating the RBCS teacher substitution program.
Required Personal Qualities: Must be member at a local church which has fundamental beliefs in agreement with historic Christian orthodoxy. Must enroll their children in Rocky Bayou Christian School or approved Christian venue. Must be in whole-hearted agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education. Must demonstrate the character qualities of enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.
Job Requirements: High school degree or GED equivalent required. Some experience with school-aged children and young adults is required. Must complete the Philosophy of Christian Education requirement. Must demonstrate proficiency with the computer programs. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Database software is required.
