Superintendent
Dr. Mosley has taught at Rocky Bayou Christian School for forty-four years, with subjects including Advanced Placement Calculus, Advanced Placement Literature, Philosophy, History, and Foreign Language. He served from 1997 to 2009 as Academy Principal. In 2009, he became the third Superintendent in RBCS history. Dr. Mosley earned his B.A. at New College of Florida in 1980 with a degree in Religion and Humanities. He earned his M.A. (1992) and Ph.D. (1997) in Modern European History and Modern German History at Florida State University. Before accepting the job of Superintendent, he was honored several times by local organizations as Teacher of the Year. Dr. Mosley most recently served our community as the Chairman of One Okaloosa Economic Development Council after serving on the Executive Board for a several years. Before that Dr. Mosley served Niceville as Chairman of the Board for the Niceville Chamber of Commerce, again after serving on its Executive Board for some time. He had been honored in 2019 by the Chamber as the inaugural recipient of the Rev. Dennis Brown Servant Leadership Award. Dr. Mosley served as RBCS’s first Varsity Baseball Head Coach for over twenty years and is still an Academic Team Coach for both RBCS and the Okaloosa County All-Star Team. Dr. Mosley is married to the former Juliana Poulsen. Together, they have six married children and twenty-five grandchildren. Dr. Mosley, along with his Senior Leadership Team, is passionate about Christian education from a Biblical worldview and about being a part of shaping the future of our students!
