Spiritual formation is an important part of a student’s growth. That is one reason Academy students, faculty, and staff have a time dedicated purely to worship and giving thanks to God. During Chapel, students sing, read scripture, and pray together. Guest speakers and local area pastors give testimonies to the student body. Our student-led Praise Band leads worship, which gives students another way to get involved.
Much like small group Bible study, RBCS also has Round Tables. When students enter the Academy, they are assigned to a group of 6-10 students of the same grade and gender. Round Tables are led by faculty or staff members who will remain with the students throughout their RBCS experience. In addition to Bible study, prayer, and fellowship, this small group environment gives each student a faculty or staff member that will act as a mentor, fostering their spiritual formation.
