Bus Driver

Substitute drivers and Route drivers (10 month position, Aug 1-June 1); $30 each route (AM or PM); $60 both routes (AM and PM). Hours: 6:00am – 8:00am and 3:00pm – 5:00pm (based on route).

Job Description: Responsible to ensure assigned bus is mechanically sound to drive route; pick-up/drop off assigned students safely and in compliance with all DOT rules and regulations and safety guidelines. Ensure accountability of all assigned students; ensure order and discipline is maintained on bus.

Required Personal Qualities: Must be a member at a local church which has fundamental beliefs in agreement with historic Christian orthodoxy. Be in whole-hearted agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and Philosophy of Christian Education. Demonstrate the character qualities of enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.

Job Requirements: Current Commercial Drivers’ License Class B (CDL) (with air brakes) or willing to get trained and take test to obtain CDL. (Training would be accomplished as soon as possible.) Medical physical required to obtain CDL license. RBCS reimburses all fees upon completion and passing of all tests. Must complete the Philosophy of Christian Education requirement.


Substitute Teacher, K5-12th grade (short and long-term)

Part-time, 10-month position, Aug 1-Jun 1; $10/hr pay rate. Non-specific bachelor degree is required. Hours on school days: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Job Description: The teacher will help students learn attitudes, skills, and participate in activities that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christian men and women, to the praise and glory of God.  Substitute will use the materials provided by the teacher in the designated grade to instruct assigned students. Substitute will follow guidance from teacher on integrating biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout all activities.  Substitute will keep proper discipline on the school premises, follow prescribed school policies for discipline procedures, and employ a variety of given instructional aides, methods, and materials to provide creative teaching to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional.

Required Personal Qualities:  Must be a member at a local church which has fundamental beliefs in agreement with historic Christian orthodoxy.  Be in whole-hearted agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and Philosophy of Christian Education.  Children must be enrolled in a Christian education venue.  Demonstrate the character qualities of enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Demonstrates proficiency in the computer programs used to update student grades, and Database software. Ability to use technology for regular communication.  Must have children, if applicable, enrolled in Christian Education.


Academy Science Teacher

(7th-12th grade; capable of teaching Earth, Life Science, Biology, Anatomy, Physiology and Bible)
Full-time, 10-month position, starting Fall– Aug 1, 2020- June 4, 2021. The starting salary is $26,562 to $28,579; Pay will be adjusted based on experience and degrees. Healthcare benefits package available. 50% tuition discount for all students enrolled at RBCS.

Employ a variety of instructional aides, methods, and materials that will provide or creative teaching to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional. Teacher will strive to accommodate all children to meet their respective needs in the classroom, to include special services students’ needs. Must be able to teach course instruction for multiple science subjects.

Must demonstrate proficiency in the computer programs classroom/school management. Needs working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Database software. Must have ability to use technology in lesson plans- such as projectors, iPads, and online videos.  


Niceville Talent Development Teacher Assistant

Full-time, 10-month Position; duty hours are 7:30am-3:45pm on school days; Starts at $10 per hour. Healthcare benefits package available.

Job Description: The teacher assistant will help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christian men and women to the praise and glory of God.  Assist the lead teacher teach all subjects assigned in the designated grade, adhering to the course instruction as prescribed in the Curriculum Guide (2-6th grade curriculum). Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and activities.  Employ a variety of instructional aids, methods, and materials that will provide or creative teaching to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social and emotional. Teach each concept, assigned by Lead Teacher, utilizing multisensory strategies for each learning style in Special Services class. Support students at chapel and other co-curricular subjects (PE, Computer, Fine Arts); support teacher in all aspects of daily classroom procedures such as grading, copying, etc. Substitute teach for Lead Teachers, when necessary. May teach a class or small group in math/reading, etc. Keep proper discipline in the classroom and on the school premises.  Follow prescribed school policy for discipline procedures.

Niceville Reading Specialist Teacher

Teach each concept utilizing multisensory strategies for each learning style in Special Services class. Support students at chapel and other co-curricular subjects (PE, Computer, Fine Arts); Keep proper discipline in the classroom and on the school premises.  Follow prescribed school policy for discipline procedures.

Niceville Elementary PE Teacher

Full-time, 10-month position

Job Description: The teacher must have experience and training in physical education. Teacher must help students learn attitudes, skills, and participate in Physical Education activities that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christian men and women to the praise and glory of God. Follow prescribed school policy for discipline procedures. Employ a variety of instructional aides, methods, and materials that will provide or creative teaching to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional. Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the musical activities. Keep proper discipline on the school premises. Prepare students for and supervise during fine arts competitions.

Required Personal Qualities: Must be member at a local church which has fundamental beliefs in agreement with historic Christian orthodoxy. Must enroll their children in Rocky Bayou Christian School or approved Christian venue. Be in whole-hearted agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education. Demonstrate the character qualities of enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related specialty or have obtained a Bachelor’s degree that includes 18 semester credit hours in Physical education or related specialty. Must be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver License.  Must willing to coach a sports team.  Must complete the Philosophy of Christian Education requirement. Demonstrates proficiency in the computer programs used to update student grades, and database software. Ability to use technology in lesson plans.
