Talent Development TA, Niceville Campus

Job Description: The teacher assistant will help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christian men and women to the praise and glory of God.  Assist the lead teacher teach all subjects assigned in the designated grade, adhering to the course instruction as prescribed in the Curriculum Guide (2-6th grade curriculum). Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and activities.  Employ a variety of instructional aids, methods, and materials that will provide or creative teaching to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social and emotional. Teach each concept, assigned by Lead Teacher, utilizing multisensory strategies for each learning style in Special Services class. Support students at chapel and other co-curricular subjects (PE, Computer, Fine Arts); support teacher in all aspects of daily classroom procedures such as grading, copying, etc. Substitute teach for Lead Teachers, when necessary. May teach a class or small group in math/reading, etc. Keep proper discipline in the classroom and on the school premises.  Follow prescribed school policy for discipline procedures.

Proficiency in MimioTeach desired.

Bus Driver

Substitute drivers and Route drivers (10 month position, Aug 1-June 1); $30 each route (AM or PM); $60 both routes (AM and PM). Hours: 6:00am – 8:00am and 3:00pm – 5:00pm (based on route).

Job Description: Responsible to ensure assigned bus is mechanically sound to drive route; pick-up/drop off assigned students safely and in compliance with all DOT rules and regulations and safety guidelines. Ensure accountability of all assigned students; ensure order and discipline is maintained on bus.

Part-time, 10-month position, Aug 1-Jun 1; $10/hr pay rate. Non-specific bachelor degree is required. Hours on school days: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Substitute will follow guidance from teacher on integrating biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout all activities.  Substitute will keep proper discipline on the school premises, follow prescribed school policies for discipline procedures, and employ a variety of given instructional aides, methods, and materials to provide creative teaching to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional.

Event Coordinator & Marketing Assistant

20 hours/month, some flexibility; based on event schedule. Occasional mornings and evenings depending on the event.

Job Description:  The Event Coordinator & Marketing Assistant will coordinate all special events, and volunteers for each event. Provide sufficient resources to ensure the school can achieve its mission, set priorities to meet annual goals and assist in the planning, management, and implementation of events. This includes but is not limited to, open houses, school visits and tours, re-enrollment, brochures, etc.  The Event Coordinator & Marketing Assistant will assist in setting and maintaining professional writing and design standards for school communications, manage the volunteers associated with events, media relations including advertising and press releases in local newspaper, local media coverage of school events and ensure that special event goals are established, planned and approved. The Event Coordinator & Marketing Assistant is responsible for hosting and running special events.

Grounds Maintenance Technician, Niceville Campus

12-month position; Starting immediately through July 31st, 2022; $14 per hour.  Healthcare benefits package available.

Job Description: The Grounds Maintenance Technician will assist the Grounds Manager with the details of grounds maintenance to include plant and tree care, lawn care, grounds cleaning and debris removal, assisting in grounds design and shaping, and lawn machinery use and maintenance. He/she must be able to assist in other needs of the school as required by the Grounds Manager or the Operations Director.

Academy Guidance Counselor

Full-time, 12-month position; Starting immediately through July 31st, 2022; $33,000 to $38,000 (12 month pay level). Pay adjusted based on experience and degrees. Healthcare benefits package available. 50% tuition discount for all students enrolled at RBCS.

Job Description: The guidance counselor shall reflect the purpose of the school in honoring Christ by motivating students to accept the gift of salvation and grow in their faith.  They should cooperate with the Academy Principal and Superintendent by implementing policies, procedures and directives governing the school.  Their duties will include preparing progress reports and report cards, setting up schedules for 7th through 12th grade students, adjusting schedules as requested by the principal, ensuring high school students obtain community service hours, counseling with parents and students about grade issues, maintaining student records, coordinating and administering testing such as PLAN, PSAT, SAT, CTBS, CAT, etc., provide test scores on spreadsheets, ensure seniors have met graduation requirements, schedule and meet with 9th through 12th grade students and parents during the summer for graduation planning, assist other counselors and job coaches, represent the school favorably to the school’s constituency and general public, develop and maintain rapport with students, parents, and staff by treating others with friendliness, dignity, and consideration, maintain a teachable attitude , and follow the Matthew 18 principle.

Supplemental Functions: The guidance counselor shall supervise outings as assigned, seek professional growth opportunities, provide constructive input to administrators, perform monthly entry of transcripts, Bright Futures scores, senior checklist database scores, communicate with parents if their student needs to retake competitive scholarship tests, administer college application process for seniors, keep GPA and class rank current per semester, send sixth semester transcripts with applications, write recommendations for senior applications, send required information to colleges as needed by students applying for entry, complete student files with transcripts and diplomas, and assist with graduation planning and preparation.

Academy Registrar

Full-time, 12-month position, hourly position, $12.00 – 15.00/hourly rate, dependent upon experience. Healthcare and employee benefit package available.

Job Description: The Registrar shall reflect the purpose of the school which is to honor Christ in every class and in every activity. Motivate students to accept God’s gift of salvation and help them grow in their faith through their witness and Christian role modeling.  Enter schedules in database for every student grades 7 -12 received from the guidance counselor and senior advisor; giving priority seating, to seniors, then juniors, sophomores, and finally freshmen. Update transcripts with any grades and credits awarded via Florida Virtual School, dual-enrollment courses, or other online programs and file reports in student’s cumulative file.  Update transcripts for 9-12 graders regarding credit recovery and grade forgiveness.  Update and maintain courses, room numbers, and teacher assignments in database each semester; produce progress reports/report cards; assist Guidance Counselor and Senior Advisor in maintaining all student records; Testing Coordination.
