Job Title: Assistant Director of Advancement

Job Description: Assistant Advancement Director prayerfully coordinates all fundraising, special events, volunteers, direct marketing, and donor management to the praise and glory of God. Responsible for the overall vision planning, management, coordination and evaluation of the enrollment management, development, communications and constituent/public relations programs of the school – activities that create a supportive climate for enrollment and fundraising.  This is all in an effort to provide sufficient resources to ensure the school can achieve its mission.

Required Personal Qualities:  The Advancement Assistant shall be a confessing Christian who maintains an active personal relationship with Christ as Savior and Lord.  The Advancement Assistant shall complete the RBCS Philosophy of Christian Education requirement, and possess work experience in an educational setting. Must have a graphic design portfolio available for review. Job requires equal focus on web design, print design and social media networking. Must have ability and adaptability to use technology for networking, marketing plans, advertisement, and press release writing. Job DescriptionThe Librarian shall be a confessing Christian who maintains an active personal relationship with Christ as Savior and Lord. The Librarian will be responsible for monitoring students in all libraries and in study halls as assigned, maintaining the libraries, cataloging and processing library material, circulating library material, and aiding the IT Specialist in various other tasks.  Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout duties and activities.  Employ a variety of research methods and materials that will provide aide to or reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional. Keep proper discipline, in line with prescribed school policies, within the library and on the school premises.

The Librarian shall have a four-year college degree, or adequate work experience as a librarian, or meet the standard as required by FACCS for accreditation. The Librarian shall possess basic computer skills and be adaptive to learning new computer software programs. Programs used include, but are not limited to, RenWeb, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Resourcemate, and various datasbase programs. The Librarian shall be physically and mentally able to perform essential functions and basic duties of position, as described below, in a timely and efficient manner. The Librarian should be capable of lifting 10-15 lbs alone. The Librarian shall have a sense of calling by God to the Librarian profession.
