STEP 1: Tour
Take a group or private tour so we can show you around, answer your questions, and communicate applicable scholarship opportunities.
- Have your current 6th – 11th grade student shadow on select days by contacting our office at admission@rbcs.org. Select invitations from Rocky Administrators may be offered to students outside of these parameters.
- If you will be applying for in house RBCS Tuition Assistance, please do so at the same time as applying for admission to the school.
- On shadow days, your prospective or accepted student can take classes for themselves, meet teachers and staff, and make some social connections with other students in their current grade. This opportunity is available for traditional and advanced track students from current 6th-11th grades on the following spring 2024 dates:
- Wednesday, February 7th from 7:45 am-11:30 am
- Wednesday, March 6th from 7:45 am-11:30 am
- Wednesday, April 3rd from 7:45 am-11:30 am
- Wednesday, May 1st from 7:45 am-11:30 am
STEP 2: Apply Here
Submission of application does not guarantee processing of that application. The Office of Admission may defer your application based on various factors immediately after submission, during the Admission Process, or after your Family Interview. For more information on Deferred applications, please see Step 5 below.

STEP 3: Submit
Kindergarten applicants (3, 4, or 5 years old):
- Pastoral Reference (preferred)
- Preschool Evaluation (if attending a program as a 3, 4, or 5 year old)
1st-12th grade applicants before Grade Placement Testing (Required):
Individual testing dates can be arranged. Please contact Trista Bishop at testing@rbcs.org.
- Pastoral Reference (preferred)
- School Reference by Administrator
- Student Recommendation by Teacher
- Report Card (1st – 8th) or Transcript (9th – 12th)
- IEP, 504 Plan and/or other Diagnostic Testing, if on any state funded Special Needs scholarship or in Special Services (6th-12th) or Talent Development (K-5th)
All applicants after acceptance and before financial completion (Required):
- Birth Certificate
- Florida Immunization 680 or Religious Exemption 681
- Florida Health Exam Form 3040 or Out of State Health Exam from within 1 year
After completing each section of the Application, you will reach the Application Review screen.
- Review your Application and then click the Complete Review and Submit Application button.
- Next, you will click Submit Application & Make Payment.
Enter your payment information and click Submit. If applying during a window where application fees are waived, the system will not prompt you for payment.
STEP 4: Test
Grade Placement Testing is required for new students entering 2nd-12th grades. Please click the link to see which nationally normed tests we accept, available group test dates, pricing, and scheduling links.
Individual testing dates can be arranged. Please contact Trista Bishop at testing@rbcs.org.
STEP 5: Family Interview & Admission Decision
After all applicable documents and test results have been received and processed, the Principal will review the application and schedule a mandatory family interview.
- The applicant’s family will be notified within 10 business days of one of the following:
- Acceptance and placement in an agreed upon grade
- Once you have received your acceptance letter, you will be contacted to set up an appointment for Financial Arrangements. Students beginning school during the school year will have their tuition prorated.
- Acceptance and placement in the Wait Pool
- Wait Pool status is good for the 2024/25 school year until December 1, 2024.
- Application, Acceptance and/or Placement Deferred
- The grade or section applied for is too full and the application will be placed on HOLD and reviewed as space becomes available. Deferred applications will be monitored often and you will be notified by email should we move your application out of Deferment and into active processing based on space available.
- Denied
- We cannot meet your applicant’s needs and/or placement cannot be made at this time
- Acceptance and placement in an agreed upon grade
- In most cases, a new student may begin school during the school year 48 hours after financial arrangements are complete.
- Additional Kindergarten screenings may be scheduled for some students about one week prior to the first day of school.
